***THIS REQUIREMENT IS HEREBY CANCELLED IN FULL*** The Government anticipates awarding a single firm fixed price purchase in accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT Scope of Work: The scope of work includes the following: 22W2129 Building 216 Room F121 Laser System Installation 1. The contractor shall provide and install a laser safety central control panel and all associated equipment/devices in the existing stainless-steel enclosure/box between F121 and the corridor. 2. The contractor shall provide and install a door entry box with "time activated delay" key switch and associated orange indicating light at the general corridor entrance to F121. The contractor shall provide new 3/4" EMT conduits and support accessories. 3. The contractor shall provide and install a door entry box with "time activated delay" key switch and associated orange indicating light at the service galley entrance to F121. The contractor shall provide new 3/4" EMT conduits and support accessories. 4. The contractor shall provide and install a door entry box with "time activated delay" key switch and associated orange indicating light at the entrance to F121 from F115. The contractor shall provide new 3/4" EMT conduits and support accessories. 5. The contractor shall provide and install a control box inside the room installed on the corridor wall with key switch to turn system on, red light to indicate system is on, red button to power system off, and "time activated delay" key switch with associated orange indicating light. The contractor shall provide new 3/4" EMT conduits and support accessories. The scope of this project is to perform construction of building 216 Laser System Installation project as outlined in the DRAFT Statement of Work. All work shall be performed at the NIST campus located at 100 Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20899. The magnitude for this project is estimated to be below $100,000.00. The Government will conduct a pre-quotation site visit, during which potential quoters may obtain a better understanding of the required work and view the location of the services on the NIST campus. The site visit will be held on Monday, February 6, at 9:00 AM Eastern Time . The site visit shall begin promptly at 9:00 AM located at NIST 100 Bureau Drive, Building 101, Gaithersburg, MD. Parties interested in attending the pre-quotation site visit must submit a written request to Jillian Staskin, Contracting Officer, via email at jillian.staskin@nist.gov, with the company name, address, name, and title of persons attending not later than February 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM Eastern Time . Please limit attendees to two individuals per company. The Contracting Officer will provide a written response confirmation receipt of the request. Following the site visit, quoters shall submit Requests for Information by February 9, 2023, at 12:00 PM EST. A solicitation amendment will be posted at www.sam.gov with questions and responses on or about February 16, 2023. In no event shall failure to attend the pre-quotation site visit constitute grounds for a pre-award or post-award protest and/or contract claim. Quoters are cautioned that, notwithstanding any remarks, clarifications, or responses provided at the site visit, all terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged unless they are changed by written amendment. It is the responsibility of each quoter to seek clarification of any perceived ambiguity in the solicitation or created by an amendment to the solicitation.
