Bids shall be made on the forms furnished by the District and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Willowbrook Water & Sanitation District endorsed with the name of the bidder and the title 2022 Capital Improvements Project Harriman Park. Project Location: The project is located in Jefferson County, Colorado, within the boundaries of the Willowbrook Water and Sanitation District. The specific site is shown on the vicinity map in the Construction Drawings. The Contractor shall satisfy themselves as to the site location and project conditions prior to bid. All questions are to be submitted to the District Engineer. Bidder questions are to be submitted by 5:00 pm on Monday February 13, 2023. The work to be performed under this contract generally consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, accessories and labor for performing all operations necessary to install approximately 1,300 linear feet (LF) of 4-inch C900 PVC water lines, 800 linear feet (LF) of 6-inch C900 PVC water lines and 5,600 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch C900 PVC water lines by abandoning existing 6-inch and 8-inch CA water lines. The project also includes related appurtenances, removal and replacement of 11 fire hydrant assemblies, connections to existing facilities, abandonment of existing facilities, reconnecting services, asphalt removal & replacement, erosion control and site restoration to a condition equal to or better than the existing condition at the start of construction. The Bidder to whom a contract is awarded will be required to furnish Performance and Maintenance and Labor and Material Payment bonds to the District. The Performance and Maintenance and Labor and Material Payment bonds shall be furnished in the amount of 100 percent of the contract, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or to accept that proposal which in its sole and absolute judgment will under all circumstances best serve the Districts interest. No proposal will be accepted from any firm, person, or corporation, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, or is deemed incompetent, irresponsible, or unreliable by the District Board of Directors. No bids will be considered which are received after the time indicated above, and any bids so received after the scheduled closing time shall be returned to the bidder unopened.
