WORK DESCRIPTION: The Work under this contract includes the installation of new streetlights to infill missing infrastructure in developed areas throughout the city. The Work includes the installation of conduit, junction boxes, wiring, luminaire arms, and fixtures on new fiberglass poles, fixtures on new wood poles, and fixtures on existing Portland General Electric (PGE) wood poles, as well as coordination with PGE and other appurtenant work. Engineer's Estimate $400,000 to $500,000 AWARD: The City of Salem ("City") reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for thirty (30) days. BID SECURITY: Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
