THIS PROJECT RENOVATES / UPGRADES APPROXIMATELY 5,000 SQUARE FEET OF STUDENT SPACE IN THE LOWER LEVEL OF THE BURGE RESIDENCE HALL.. THE SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: 1. FLOOR, WALL AND CEILING DEMOLITION. 2. LIMITED CONCRETE SLAB DEMOLITION. 3. MEPT DEMOLITION. 4. NEW METAL STUDY AND GYPSUM WALLS, PAINTED. 5. NEW WALL COVERINGS. 6. NEW ALUMINUM STOREFRONT GLAZING WALL SYSTEMS AND DOORS (INCLUDING ACCESS CONTROL). 7. MODIFICATION OF EXISTING CEILING AND NEW CEILING SYSTEMS WORK. 8. MODIFICATION OF EXISTING FLOORING AND NEW FLOORING WORK. 9. FURNITURE. 10. NEW MEPT SYSTEMS THROUGHOUT. 11. AHU REMOVAL. Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at Burge Residence Hall, located at 301 N. Clinton Street, Iowa City, Iowa 52242. Refer to Location Map on the Cover Sheet of the Drawing Project consists of selective demolition and renovation work on the Lower Level of the Burge Residence Hall. The scope includes, but is not limited to: a. Wall, door, and ceiling demolition work. b. MEPT demolition and new work. c. Modification of existing flooring and new flooring work. d. New metal stud and gypsum walls, painted and wall treatments. e. Metal panel dividers. f. New aluminum storefront glazing wall systems and doors. g. Modification of existing ceiling and new ceiling systems work.
