The Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Supplies, Services, and Material Management Division (SSMMD) is issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) # AOCSSB23R0006 for Insulation Services. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single-award IDIQ with Firm Fixed Price and Time and Meterials Task Orders to a responsible Offeror actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and whose proposal provides the overall best value to the AOC in accordance with the requirements set forth by this solicitation and the Statement of Work (SOW). This solicitation will use the procedures in AOC Contracting Manual section 9.1 Negotiated Acquisitions. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238310 - Drywall and Insulation Contractors. The Product Service Code is 5640 - Wallboard, Building Paper, and Thermal Insulation Materials. The IDIQ ordering period will be one (1) base year and four (4) one-year options, for a total of five (5) years from the date of award if all options are exercised. Also, FAR 52.217-8 applies at the IDIQ level, if exercised for the period after Option Ordering Period 4, the total IDIQ ordering period will be five years and 6 months. Amendments: Amendment 01 issued on 01/11/2023: The purpose of this amendment is to extend the due date for proposals from January 17, 2023 noon to February 06, 2023 at noon.
