Renovation of a residential development in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The goal of this program is to promote neighborhood stability and preserve the existing supply of single-family homes by assisting moderate income homeowners with repair to their homes. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting & Wallpaper, Drywall & Plaster, Floor Coverings, Electrical, and Roofing Repairs. The scope is specific to each home. Submit Written Questions Contractor Thursday 01/19/2023 5:00 pm Provide Response to Questions/Addendum Deadline City Friday 01/20/2023 5:00 pm Written questions shall be e-mailed to antionette.goodwyn@rockymountnc.gov prior to close of business on the date specified in the proposal schedule. Contractors will enter "RFP # 320-100123APG - Questions" as the subject for the email. Questions received prior to the submission deadline date, responses, and any additional terms deemed necessary by the City of Rocky Mount will be posted in the form of an addendum to the Interactive Purchasing System (IPS), portal, the Historically Underutilized Businesses, portal, and the City of Rocky Mount portal and shall become an Addendum to this RFP. No information, instruction or advice provided orally or informally by any City personnel, whether made in response to a question or otherwise concerning this RFP, shall be considered authoritative or binding. Vendors shall rely only on written material contained in an Addendum to this RFP. Inquiries submitted no later than the date and time noted in the project schedule. Questions answered verbally will be followed up by written addenda as deemed necessary; oral interpretations shall have no effect. Property A: 514 Hammond Street - The interior has four bedrooms, kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. The total square footage is approximately 1,900 sf. The main concern is the roof. Property B: 523 Center Street - The interior has three bedrooms, kitchen, living room and 1 bathroom. The total square footage is approximately 1,200 sf. The main concern is the floors and kitchen ceiling. Property C: 616 Marigold Street - The interior has four bedrooms, kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. The total square footage is approximately 1,900 sf. The main concern is the walls, painting, and floors. Property D: 719 Eastern Avenue - The interior has four bedrooms, kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. The total square footage is approximately 1,900 sf. The main concern is the front steps, ramp, electrical, and water heater. Property E: 1136 Hill Street - The interior has three bedrooms, kitchen, living room and 1.5 bathrooms. The total square footage is approximately 1,200 sf. The main concern is the bathroom. Property F: 1600 Old Wilson Road - The interior has two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and 1 bathroom. The total square footage is approximately 1,400 sf. The main concern is the bathroom. Property G: 803 E Grand Avenue - The interior has four bedrooms, kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. The total square footage is approximately 1,600 sf. The main concern is the bathroom.
