Ring Road Resurfacing Project Each bid shall contain the name of each person, firm or corporation interested in same and must be accompanied by either a bid bond to the satisfaction of Penta Career Center, or a certified check on a solvent bank, in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the amount of the Bid, made payable to Penta Career Center, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered, and its performance properly secured The RING ROAD RESURFACING PROJECT includes milling and resurfacing of approximately 5,800 feet of the RING road around campus. The installation of a new emergency entrance off Bates Road will be bid as Alternate 1. Base Bid Engineers Estimate: $348,000.00 Alternate 1 Engineers Estimate: $89,000.00 Bids received after the scheduled Bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond or Check, will neither be read nor considered. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond, Maintenance Bond, and Certificates of Insurance prior to contract execution. Penta Career Center reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the most favorable to Penta Career Center. Penta Career Center also reserves the right to add or subtract from the quantities shown in the proposal. No bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids.
