Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Eugene, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Building 16 Renovation project addresses the 2020 Bond project goal of updating the campus science laboratories to provide modern and safe teaching environments into the future. About 75 percent of Lane students will take science classes in this building, with the courses being mainly lab-based. These science classes are not only taken for general education requirements, but also as requirements for the college's CTE programs such as Nursing and Paramedicine. Building 16 also houses the math and engineering departments, but the scope of this project is focused on the original science facilities, which are in the greatest need for upgrade.
