Site Directions: Ridge Road, Sunset Fork, Ridge Court, and Simonis Street - Stevens Point, WI Description: The contract shall consist of clearing and grubbing, erosion control, common excavation, constructing swales, curb and gutter removal, pavement removal, base aggregate, shouldering, preparing roadway for asphaltic surface, placing new asphaltic binder and surface, curb and gutter, placing new concrete and asphalt driveways, sign placement, traffic control, restoration, and all incidental items thereto at the locations identified in the plans and these special provisions and as identified by the engineer or their duly authorized representative. The contractor shall be responsible for providing a traffic control plan and providing traffic control from the time contract work is commenced until the roadway can be opened to traffic; general cleanup including sweeping of the binder and removal of excess concrete is also required and shall be incidental to bid items included in the contract documents Additional Description: Approximately 8,000 tons of dense graded base; approximately 2,800 tons of asphaltic concrete pavement; approximately 6,800 cubic yards of common excavation; approximately 600 lineal feet of concrete curb and gutter; approximately 7,000 square yards of restoration, removing and erecting street signs, appurtenances, and miscellaneous items.
