B.Scope includes prepurchase of the following equipment. 1. As a part of the upcoming Central Boiler Plant Upgrades project, two (2) high pressure natural gas-fired firetube steam boilers are being prepurchased by Harper College to expedite the delivery and construction schedule of the project. The boilers are to be shipped fully assembled and rigged in one piece by Owner's installation contractor. E. Bid security in the form of bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Base Bid amount and all Alternate Bid amounts shall be submitted with the bid. F.Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder. J.Harper College reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the College. K.Bidders shall comply with Business Enterprise Program: Participation and Utilization Plan developed by Harper College. There is a 30 percent aspirational goal on the contract.
