Hartford Public Schools is accepting bids for the purchase, installation, training, documentation, and warranty of a turnkey access control system solution. Hartford Public Schools currently is currently seeking to enhance the security throughout their buildings by adding an access control system that will secure the facilitates via specific exterior and interior doors while utilizing current doors. This RFP will be for the following: a) New District-wide Access Control Server b) Any new hardware or panels required c) Licensing for all doors, panels, and hardware required to secure the facility d) Any necessary licensing for access control system to integrate with district digital surveillance system e) Any licensing required to integrate with Active Directory f) All bidders must include a line item for contingency funds for unforeseen items such as electrical or construction costs outside the original bid. The following buildings will be involved in this project and are all located in Hartford, MI 49057: a) Hartford High School, 115 School St. b) Hartford Middle School, 115 School St. c) Redwood Elementary School, 395 Woodside Dr. Hartford Public schools considers this RFP legally binding and will require that this Request for Proposal and the Contractor Proposal be incorporated by reference into any resulting Contract between the Contractor(s) and Hartford Public Schools. It should be understood by the Contractor(s) that this means that Hartford Public Schools expects the Contractor(s) to satisfy all requirements and reports listed herein. Exception should be explicitly noted in the Contractor Proposal. Lack of listing all exceptions will be considered acceptance of all the Terms, Conditions, and Specifications as presented in this RFP.
