Renovation of an educational facility in Aurora, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
As of January 16, 2024, construction of this project has been completed, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The intent of the project is to renovate 3 office spaces on the 4th floor at the University of Colorado, College of Nursing (13120 E 19th Ave, Aurora, CO 80045, Education 2 North Building) located on the Anschutz campus. The College of Nursing mission is to prepare leaders in clinical nursing, research and community service; integrate the delivery of exemplary healthcare; discover and translate new knowledge to improve health in Colorado and beyond. The University of Colorado, School of Medicine has been working with an architect and engineering team to create the scope of work and 100% complete CD drawings and specs. Renovation work on the 4th floor of the ED 2 North Building includes new finishes, flooring, wall base, and paint in room 4224. There will also be the addition of casework and a sink with disposal. Room 4224 will also include the addition of 3 clerestory windows. Electrical work includes multiple floor boxes, audiovisual equipment, and new lighting/lighting controls. Rooms 4223 & 4225 are to have new clerestory windows. Additional data and power for workstations and door card readers will be installed.
