Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Aurora, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work performed under this contract consists of removal and replacement of various concrete structural assets. Work necessary for accomplishment under this contract includes but is not limited to: removal and replacement of concrete panels, vertical curb/gutters, sidewalks, pans, chase drains, and ADA ramps; partial depth concrete repairs; subgrade preparation and backfill; sprinkler repairs; and landscape restoration. Manhole, valve box, and other utility adjustments are incidental to the project. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Each bid response shall be submitted on the prescribed forms supplied in the Project Manual. Each Bid shall be accompanied by an appropriate guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, payable to the City of Aurora in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Original bid bond does not have to be mailed; however, each bidder should maintain the original on file should the City require it at a later time.
