Site work for a water / sewer project in Collingdale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids must include a certified check or bid bond, with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania as posted through PennBid in the amount of 10% of the bid. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be opened online and referred to the Borough for Award. An abstract of the bids will be available to bidders on portal at the date and time that the bids are due. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid packages, (ie insurance and the E-Verify Public Works Employment Verification Act). The BidderaEUR(TM)s attention is called to the fact that this project is assisted with federal funds, and various federal requirements apply as noted in the bid documents, including but not limited to equal opportunity provisions. Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, and Section 3 Final rule threshold requirements for contracts over $200,000 in HUD funds. Questions may be submitted through portal on or before Noon on January 25, 2023. Responses will be provided via PennBid to all registered plan holders. Collingdale Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions of, to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days
