2023 North Beach Drive Water Main Improvements The work for which bids are asked includes installation of water main along N Beach Drive in the Village of Fox Point, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. Work also includes installation of new hydrants, hydrant leads and water services. Majority of water main to be installed via horizontal directional drilling. Water services from the curb stop to the connection at the existing building (connections vary, including internal and external) to be installed via horizontal directional drilling. Associated restoration of disturbed asphalt roadway and lawn areas is also included in the project. The anticipated substantial completion date is 06-10-2023 and final completion date is 07-10-2023. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. 1702 Pankratz Street, Madison, WI 53704 The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages.
