REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Murray County Schools Facilities Department is requesting bids from qualified contractors at three separate facilities . 1. Gladden Middle School - 700 Old Dalton Ellijay Road 2. MCBOE Bus Garage - 715 West Chestnut Street 3. MCBOE Transportation Office- 715 West Chestnut Street . All questions concerning these projects will be sent via email to chris.crow@murray.kl 2.ga.us Proposal Requirements Projects will be bid separately based on location Scope of Work Gladden Middle School : Demolition of approximately 253' of concrete exterior in the front of the building . Removal of existing steps & handicapped ramp. Replace existing concrete with stamped concrete. Relocate handicapped ramp and replace all steps to be code compliant. Bus Garage : Demolition of existing offices. New construction of offices as per drawing & specifications provided. Transportation Offices: Demolition of specific areas provided in drawing . New construction of spaces and finishes outlined in provided drawings. Payment & Performance Bonds will be required Construction deadline is a minimum of 2 weeks prior to start of 2023 /2024 school year. Murray County School will set priority on each project. No work will start prior to May 26, 2023
