Renovation of an educational facility in Lilburn, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,510-square-foot educational facility.

This project consists of chain link fencing, patching of cmu walls, exterior concrete slabs on grade, drywall and framing, painting, plumbing, hvac, and electrical. All Pre-Qualified Bidders for this project shall attend the Pre-Bid Conference. FAILURE TO ATTEND SHALL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF THE BIDDER. Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of receipt of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond payable to Gwinnett County Board of Education in an amount equal to five percent of the base bid (Certified Checks NOT Acceptable). Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, each amount equal to 100 percent of the contract sum, will be required of the successful bidder. These bonds shall be executed by a Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia, be listed on "Department of The Treasury Circular 570" and have an A.M. Best Company rating of at least Class "A", with a Financial Size of VI or better. Bonds must be accompanied by letter stating company's current rating for verification prior to acceptance by the Owner and execution of the formal Owner/Contractor agreement. Time is of the essence to the Contract performance. Notice to Proceed will be issued after the Pre- Construction meeting as soon as all required paperwork such as Contracts, Bonds, Insurance, etc. are in order. Contractor shall mobilize within ten (10) days of Notice to Proceed. All construction must be substantially complete by July 19, 2024. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
