All Bids Are to Be Sealed in an Envelope Clearly Marked "Back Up Road Salt Bid" and Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid, Made Payable to the Township of Plains. The Successful Bider Will Be Required to Guarantee Delivery of a Minimum of 100 Tons, Within 72 Hours of Notification. Any Company That Has Been Awarded the State Costars Contract for 2023-2024 is Required to Guarantee Availability of Road Salt for the Township or Provide a Secondary Source for the Township to Acquire Road Salt at the Same Bid Price. Plains Township Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids.
