The Rincon del Diablo Municipal Water District (RDDMWD) is located in the northerly inland portion of the County of San Diego (County). The District's service area encompasses approximately 42 square miles that overlaps portions of the cities of Escondido, San Marcos, San Diego, and various unincorporated areas of the County. Through its two improvement districts (ID 1 and ID A), the District maintains and operates approximately 132 miles of water main, six pump stations, and ten reservoirs serving approximately 9,000 water service connections and a population of 30,000 residents. RDDMWD is soliciting proposals for on-call professional environmental consulting services to support Capital Improvement Program (CIP), maintenance projects, and operations, as well as other EVMWD activities as needed, to provide environmental compliance services and secure the CEQA documentation, including identifying any environmental permits and processes required to construct each project. Respondents should have an environmental consulting background for projects in the fields of water, wastewater, recycled water, water resources, water planning, groundwater extraction, groundwater wells, water treatment, wastewater treatment, storage reservoirs with experience in long term master planning documents The District is seeking to select up to two (2) professional environmental firms to provide professional environmental services. The firms will share a cumulative not-to-exceed contract in the amount of $100,000. General: RDDMWD is soliciting proposals for on-call professional environmental consulting services to support Capital Improvement Program (CIP), maintenance projects, and operations, as well as other RDDMWD activities as needed, to provide environmental compliance services and secure the CEQA documentation, including identifying any environmental permits and processes required to construct each project. The Consultant will then prepare a detailed scope of work, schedule, and cost estimate for each task order assigned under the contract. Upon written task order authorization from the District, the Consultant shall then proceed with the project as described in the scope of work.
