All materials are to meet the 2012 Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction except where noted. The bidder, upon request of the Road Commission, will issue a written certification that materials purchased from them meet these specifications. Prices are to be based on a unit price per cubic yard (loose measure) or by the ton and are to remain firm through March 1, 2024. Sale tickets (one to driver and one to Road Commission with summary bill) shall be provided by the bidder for each load hauled. Date of sale, accurate weight and signature of truck driver will be the minimum information provided. Prices are to be indicated on this sheet and submitted in a sealed envelope marked "AGGREGATE QUOTATIONS". The Commission reserves the right to purchase material from any and/or all bidders when in their opinion said purchases are in the best interest of the Gratiot County Road Commission. This contract can be extended only if mutually agreeable between the supplier and the Gratiot County Road Commission, under the terms and conditions provided herein.
