The Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Contractor shall furnish all materials, implements, machinery, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, construction layout, labor and supervision required to complete the proposed items as shown on the attached documents and specified herein for the lump sum price stated by the Contractor on the attached proposal. The Work consists of, but is not limited to a. Temporary signage to isolate the work area b. Protection of existing finishes, furnishings, etc to remain c. Removal and disposal of carpet tiles d. Furnish and install new flooring e. Thresholds / Transition Strips f. Sealant and backer rod g. Temporary removal and reinstallation of furniture h. Entrance Mats i. Progress and final cleaning The Contract type is for construction. The Contract Term will commence after complete execution of the contract by all parties concerned. The construction work is to begin upon the date of Notice to Proceed and be complete within 60 consecutive calendar days. An extension of the contract term will be provided if there is a long lead for the materials. Work to be performed from 7 AM to 6 PM on Mondays through Fridays. Contractor shall have limited use of the premises for construction operations confined to the vestibule the work is being performed. Contractor shall comply with the Noise Ordinance, which is effect from 6 pm to 8 am. Building will be occupied at all the times, except for the vestibule when the work is being performed. Contractor shall minimize disturbance to building occupants, sidewalks, and driveway.
