The 12 road 8-inch waterline improvement project (rance canyon drive to m 0.15 road). The project consists of installation of approximately 2,250 feet of 8-inch C900 PVC pipe, of which approximately 150 feet is horizontal directional drill (HDD) and pull back (trenchless installation), including installation of fire hydrants, connection to existing mains and services, and other miscellaneous work as described in the Contract Documents. Bids received after the date and time indicated on the Invitation to Bid will not be considered. The Ute Water Conservancy District is not responsible for delays occasioned by the US Postal Service or any other means of delivery employed by Bidder. It is required that the surety issuing such bonds have an attorney-in-fact or a principal doing business in Colorado. This information must be included on the bond statement. The Ute Water Conservancy District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to postpone the award for thirty (30) days, to delete certain items from the Proposal, and to award the Contract to the lowest responsible bidder. The Ute Water Conservancy District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed bidding procedures and requirements and, may reject any and all bids upon finding that it is in the District s best interest to do so. Contractor shall be licensed as required by the State of Colorado and local governments or municipalities.
