Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. For Lewis and Clark Wastewater System Improvements - Dosing Tank Replacement The Project includes the following Work: Due to funding limitations a Bid Alternate is included. Missoula County will award a contract to the low bid for the Base Bid. Missoula County reserves the right to include work associated with Bid Alternate 1 depending on funds available at the time of bid. Base Bid: The Base Bid includes: mobilization/demobilization; demolition of existing dosing and dosing/filter tanks; installation of isolation valves; installation of a new dosing tank including pumps, level controls, piping, electrical and appurtenant work; installation of filters in an existing septic tank; and associated septic tank pumping necessary for facilitation of system improvements. Bid Alternate 1: Installation of additional isolation valves and appurtenant work. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Anders Nord, HDR Engineering, 700 SW Higgins, Suite 200, Missoula, MT 59803. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents electronically or at the Issuing Office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm local time and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents Upon Issuing Offices receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, bid security, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
