The City of Seaside is seeking to retain a qualified firms to provide environmental consultant services for the City of Seaside Fire Station No. 2 project (Project). The Consultant shall provide technical environmental services under the direction of City staff and conduct necessary environmental studies for an initial study/mitigated negative declaration (IS/MND) for the Project. The Consultant will be expected to provide experienced and knowledgeable professional staff and be committed to provide adequate staffing levels at all times in order to adhere to established schedules. The Consultant shall be knowledgeable and very familiar with applicable federal, State, and local regulation, policies, and procedures as they pertain to the CEQA services provided. One (1) bound copy of the proposal package are due by 4:00 PM Pacific Time on Friday, February 10, 2023. The proposal package, including the sealed cost proposal, shall be labeled "Fire Station No. 2 CEQA Services RFP" and submitted to the following address: City of Seaside 440 Harcourt Avenue Seaside, CA 93955 Please also submit by e-mail a single Adobe Acrobat(R) PDF file containing the entire proposal, excluding your cost proposal, to pwinfo@ci.seaside.ca.us. The e-mail subject line should read: RFP-Fire Station No. 2 CEQA Services. RFP- SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DEADLINE. SUBMISSIONS TRANSMITTED BY FAX WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. All material submitted in accordance with this RFP becomes the property of the City and will not be returned. Questions Due - January 26, 2023 Responses to Questions - February 1, 2023 Consultant Contract Award (tentative) - March 2, 2023 The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals. The City also reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any proposal. Additionally, the City may, for any reason, decide not to award an agreement as a result of this RFP or cancel the RFP process. The City shall not be obligated to respond to any proposal submitted, nor be legally bound in any manner by the submission of the proposal. The Department of Public Works will make a recommendation to the City Manager or City Council, as applicable, regarding the selection of Consultant based upon an evaluation of the proposals.
