Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Delta, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The work generally consists of the removal of existing 900 mm CSP culverts and the installation of a new 2438 mm x 914 mm box culvert including lock block retaining walls as per the design drawings. The project site is along Mason Canal crossing Arthur Drive. Arthur Drive is classified as an aerial road that sees significant vehicle volumes including heavy trucks and farm vehicles. Full road closures will be allowed during the Easter long weekend for the completion of the majority of the construction work. Road closures shall not be permitted outside the Easter long weekend. City of Delta crews will complete the temporary capping and reinstatement of the watermain. Project location: 3700 BLOCK OF ARTHUR DRIVE CITY OF DELTA
