The City of Ramsey will receive sealed bids for furnishing all labor, material, machinery and tools necessary for City Improvement Project 24-12, Juniper Woods 1st-3rd Street Reconstructions. The work generally consists of reconstructing 1.33 miles of urban bituminous streets within the Juniper Woods subdivision. The work is estimated to include: *12,750 square yards of full-depth pavement reclamation *1,920 square yards of full-depth trail reclamation *2,165 tons of bituminous pavement *411 feet of curb & gutter *Miscellaneous other improvements It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded on March 12, 2024, and that work may begin on or about May 1, 2024. Each bidder shall submit a bid bond made payable to the City of Ramsey in the amount of 5% of the total bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The online bid must be completed and submitted, all addenda acknowledged and acknowledgement uploaded to the site, and a copy of the bid bond uploaded to the site. The original bid bond must be delivered to the City within 2 business days after the bid opening. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least 45 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The City of Ramsey reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities.
