A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: EDGE Participation Goal 5% The State intends to select an Architectural/Engineering (A/E) firm to provide design and construction administration services to provide facility security upgrades at the Warren Correctional Institution (WCI) in Lebanon, Ohio. WCI was opened in 1989 and has capacity to house approximately 1450 inmates. The scope of the project is to design and oversee renovations within two housing units (one building) to accommodate the needs of a residential treatment unit to include the following: 1. Upgrade the current HVAC to provide climate control/cooling 2. Replacement of existing slider windows with stationary, detention grade windows 3. Replacement of cell door lock hardware to existing cell doors (approximately 65) 4. Replacement of cell fixtures to meet higher security requirements (lighting, plumbing, door hardware) 5. Addition of an outdoor recreation space 6.
