No definite date for the rebid.** Work to be performed generally includes: strip and stockpile of existing topsoil, installation of proposed utilities, overlot grading, temporary access and parking, asphalt paving, concrete paving, landscaping, fencing, field improvements, and signage & striping. Included is all site work, erosion control, traffic control, construction surveying, installation, and incidental work required to complete the Work as specified on the Drawings. The work includes a base bid broken into phases (1A, 1B, 1C, 2, & 3). The intent is to award this project during the City Council Hearing on the evening of February 27, 2022. In addition, the Drawings and Project Manual may be examined at the following locations: the office of the consulting engineer, Western Engineering Consultants, Inc. LLC, and through the City of Brush!. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds and comply with the insurance provision as specified by the Contract Documents. A 5% Bid Bond will be required. A project schedule is required with the Bid. Qualifications to the Bidder should include: experience with utility removal and installation, ability to obtain necessary permits for construction, ability to post performance and payment bonds, and ability to deliver the work in conformance with specifications within the contract time. Bid Questions will be taken up until 5:00pm February 07, 2023 and Responses to Bid Questions will be provided by 2pm February 09, 2023. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any irregularities or to waive any technical defects in the bidding process as the best interest of the OWNER may be served.
