Site work for a water / sewer project in Brush, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The intent is to award this project during the City Council Hearing on the evening of February 05, 2024 contingent upon Council approval of budget. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds and comply with the insurance provision as specified by the Contract Documents. A 5% Bid Bond will be required. Work to be performed generally includes: strip and stockpile of existing topsoil, demolition of existing asphalt and curb & gutter, open trench installation of proposed storm pipes, installation of proposed storm infrastructure (inlets, manholes, stilling basin & forebay), pond grading, repair of existing asphalt roads, and landscaping. Included is all site work, erosion control, traffic control, construction surveying, installation, and incidental work required to complete the Work as specified on the Drawings. The work includes a base bid and three add alternates (Schedules A, B, & C). A project schedule is required with the Bid. Qualifications to the Bidder should include: experience with utility removal and installation, ability to obtain necessary permits for construction, ability to post performance and payment bonds, and ability to deliver the work in conformance with specifications within the contract time. Basis of award will be the lowest responsive and responsible Bid as determined by the OWNER. OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and to negotiate contract terms with the successful BIDDER, and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any irregularities or to waive any technical defects in the bidding process as the best interest of the OWNER may be served. Bid Questions will be taken up until 5:00pm January 03, 2024 and Responses to Bid Questions will be provided by 2pm January 08, 2024.
