The Bay County Board of County Commissioners is seeking statements of qualifications from firms to provide professional Architectural and Engineering services for a new Fire Station located at the Fountain Community Complex located at 12421 Highway 20, Youngstown, Parcel 02858-000-000 Project M0169. This project may be reimbursed by the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) from HUD and the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (FDEO). Respondents will comply with the Federal Regulations Contract Requirements shown at Exhibit 3. The County shall hire an Architectural/Engineering Firm or Individual to conduct Phase I (design) of this project, which includes the preliminary engineering designs and calculations, surveys, permitting, and notices. Construction activities will be approved at a later date through a subsequent ITB but, are not approved at this time. Phase I work shall be completed in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and codes. Architect and/or Engineering firms shall be Florida licensed firms. Architects shall hold a Florida Professional Architect license. Engineers shall hold a Florida Professional Engineer's license. Surveyors shall hold a Professional Land Surveyor's License. All professional services to be provided under the awarded contract shall be performed by Professionals licensed to practice in the State of Florida and in strict compliance with the Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act, 287.055 F.S. (CCNA). Consultants providing services under this contract shall at all times be knowledgeable of the limiting thresholds of the CCNA statutes and shall ensure that full compliance therewith is maintained at all times.
