Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; for site work for a fitness / recreation center; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of January 10, 2024, the award for this RFP is still pending. Per owner, they do not release award information. For Educational Complex Design and Engineering Project This proposal is for the design and engineering of an Educational Complex to be located on approximately one-half acre site adjacent to the Santa Ana Wellness Center at 225 Ranchitos Rd, within the Pueblo of Santa Ana. Awarded party will deliver a complete set of plans, including all blueprints, design specifications and stamped engineering. These plans will be complete to be ready for bidding and subsequent construction. Design Requirements Design will fit in to the surrounding Pueblo area and reflect the design characteristics and heritage of the Pueblo of Santa Ana. Final design will include complete building and site plans (parking, walkways, landscaping, etc.) Technical and Infrastructure Requirements Design and engineering of Complex will meet or exceed State of New Mexico Building Code, as well as all applicable Federal requirements and the Sandoval County Fire Code as each be effect at time of final product delivery. Functional Requirements Awarded Vendor will meet with the Education Department and Pueblo of Santa Ana governing body within 30 days of award. In this meeting the vendor will work with the Pueblo to determine proper needs for the building and site size, internal layout and rooms for the needs of 60 pre-school students, space for 80 to 100 students in an after-school setting, a library, a craft room, meeting room for 50 to 60 adults and necessary office spaces, storage, amenities, etc. Estimated Project Duration Submissions will propose a schedule that allows at least three meetings between designers and Pueblo for review and refinement to the design. At least 15 days prior to each meeting the latest proposed set of floorplan layouts and elevations / renderings will be provided to the Pueblo. A final set of site and building plans will be delivered within 180 days of award. These will include all specifications and stamped engineering. They will be delivered as physical sets of plans and specifications, as well as electronically in formats suitable for immediate bidding, permitting and construction. At least 5 each interior and exterior 3-D colorized renderings will be provided in electronic format and may be used by Pueblo for publication and marketing. Agreements The Pueblo of Santa Ana reserves the right to reject any or all bids that are determined to be incomplete or insufficient by our sole judgement. Basis for Award of Contract These factors will be considered in final award decision: 1) Review of proposal for completeness and overall structural complexity; 2) Appeal of conceptual design as determined by Pueblo of Santa Ana Governing Council or their designees; 3) Proposed Proposal cost; 4) Reputation and ability of selected winner to deliver final product. Anticipated Selection Schedule It is anticipated that bid will be awarded by February 28, 2023. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
