SCOPE OF WORK: Travis County WCID No. 18 will accept sealed bids for the District s High Service Pump Building replacement located at 3002 Niagara Drive. The Work to be performed includes furnishing all necessary components, supervision, machinery, insurance, bonds, materials, equipment, tools, and labor necessary for the demolition of the existing CMU building and construction of the replacement building within the same footprint. The work shall also include the demolition of a chemical storage tank located within the existing building and furnishing and placement of a new 1200 gallon chemical storage tank located on the 2nd level of the new building. The OWNER reserves the right to waive all informalities and irregularities, and determine which Bids are most advantageous to the Project, and to award the Contract on this basis. BONDS: Performance, payment, and warranty bonds shall each be issued in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Amount as security for all the CONTRACTOR s obligations under the Contract Documents. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: Bidders shall maintain insurance in the types and amounts indicated the Contract Documents. BID GUARANTY: All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five percent (5%) of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a cashier s check made payable to Travis County Water Control and Improvement District No. 18, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety. BIDDER REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor performing the building improvements shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in this type of construction. 0
