The Town of Sylvan Lake is procuring for the construction of a connector trail from the existing system at the off leash dog park to Pogadl Park. The trail construction will consist of coring, base construction and ACP for both 2.5m and 3.0m trail segments. Trail extension from Dog Park South to Memorial Trail trail is on East side of 60th Street (Range Road 15), approximately 110m core out organic material and clay as required only core to depth required for top of asphalt to blend with the existing grading supply and install geotextile and compacted 150mm 3-20 granular base supply and install 75mm of type 5(b)2 ACP 2.5m wide Trail along Memorial Trail trail is constructed on the North side of Memorial Trail, approximately 620m total core out organic material and clay as required only core to depth required for top of asphalt to blend with the existing grading supply and install geotextile, compacted 150mm 3-20 granular base for first 200m west of 60th Street and 300mm for the remainder west and 75mm type 5(b)2 ACP finished ACP to be 3.0m wide supply and install 2 - 600mm corrugated steel culverts for crossing ditch to sports park at Main park entrance and east access entrance cored out clay to be used to construct the crossing over the CSP and topped with the organic material; if additional clay is required, it can be taken from Pogadl Sports Park trail installed over these to have geotextile, 150mm of compacted 3-20 granular base and 75mm type 5(b)2 ACP Documents can be obtained from https://sylvanlake.bidsandtenders.ca/ Bid values are undisclosed.
