Bid specifications are as follows: A contract for weekly residential solid waste collection and disposal, and other refuse collection as further detailed in the Trash service All bidders must have completed and signed FORM 96, as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts. THE CONTRACT IS TO BE BID FOR THREE (3) YEARS. As a guaranty of good faith and as bid security, each bid shall be accompanied with cash, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid made payable to the Town of Jamestown. Each bidder shall submit a financial statement, a statement of experience, the bidders proposed plans for performing the contract, and the equipment that the bidder has available for the performance of the contract on forms prescribed by the State Board of Accounts. Local time prevails on all time issues and the Jamestown Town Council reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid, and to reject any and all bids. The Town of Jamestown also reserves the right not to enter in to any contract as a result of this bid invitation.
