Reference Beech River Bore specifications when calling. a. This bid is for a 500' bore of 6" HDPE SDR11 Water Main with 10 Gauge Tracer Wire. b. The bore will be replacing the current broken main line on Shady Hill Rd going underneath Beech River. c. Price is to include only labor for the bore, fusion, and pressure test of the new water main. d. Pipe is to be installed according to standard TDEC and AWWA regulations as well as Lexington Utilities Standard Specifications. e. Contractor will be required to maintain a "cite specific contingency plan" in the case any drilling fluids are released into the stream per TDEC regulations. f. Contractor will be responsible for verifying the location and depth of all existing utilities prior to constriction. g. Once all fusion connections are made, pipe is to be pressure tested to 180 psi for a 24-hour period to ensure all connections are sound and no leakage occurs. h. Pipe, Tracer Wire, and (2) MJ fittings to be fused and bored will be supplied by Lexington Utilities. i. Lexington Utilities will be responsible for making tie-ins to the existing mainline once the bore and pressure test have been completed. j. Lexington Utilities will be responsible for all water samples taken before new main is tied into existing line. k. Lexington Utilities will be responsible for obtaining all required permits for the project Questions Due to Lexington Utilities February 16, 2023
