Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Greenville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This work consists of removing existing steel bearings as indicated and furnishing and installing steel-reinforced elastomeric bearings and steel-reinforced elastomeric bearing assemblies complete with all associated appurtenances, including, but not limited to galvanized steel sole plates, field welding, and painting where required. Bids will be opened and publicly announced immediately following the submission deadline by a representative of the County Bridge Engineer in the Mercer County Bridge Department located at 104 Mortensen Road Greenville PA. Prequalification of bidders is required on this project as indicated in Specification Publication 408/2020, Section 102.01. A bid security shall accompany each bid in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. Bid security shall be in the form of cash, a bid bond with corporate surety or a certified check (with no exceptions) payable to County of Mercer drawn on a bank authorized to do business in Pennsylvania. Further, the successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for performance and payment bonds and proof of insurance. The County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof to waive any informality. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/9/2023 10:00 AM
