Renovation of a military facility in Venice, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
1. The contractor shall provide all the necessary tools, equipment, labor and supervision to replace a faulty fuel delivery pump, located at Station Venice on 436 Coast Guard Rd, Venice, LA 70091-0707 in accordance with the attached Statement of Work, Clauses, and Wage Determinations. The Magnitude of Construction in accordance with FAR 36.204 is $25,000 or less. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. Companies submitting a quote must be actively registered in System for Award Management - https://www.sam.gov EVALUATION FACTORS FOR AWARD 1. Basis for Contract Award - Evaluation of Quotations-Simplified Acquisition Procedures (a) In accordance with FAR 13.106, the basis on which award will be made are the following: -Price Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Quoter whose quote confirming to the solicitation will be the lowest price. (b) A quotation is not an offer and, consequently, cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Therefore, issuance by the Government of an order in response to a supplier's quotation does not establish a contract. A written notice of award provided to the successful Quoter is an offer by the Government to the Quoter to provide services upon specified terms and conditions. A contract is established when the supplier accepts the offer. Labor contruction wage rates are included in this solicitation and are applicable.
