The requirement is to replace flooring throughout the second floor of the Units Multipurpose Building in accordance with the attached scope of work and specifications. Work includes examining all existing conditions prior to quoting, taking field measurements, evaluating current flooring surfaces, and ensuring full familiarity with the facility conditions under which the work will be performed. All labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the flooring replacement must meet the detailed requirements provided by the U.S. Coast Guard, including all construction wage determinations and applicable FAR Part 36 provisions. Quotes must include pricing, a technical approach demonstrating understanding of the work, and past performance. Evaluation will be conducted on a lowest-priced technically acceptable basis. This action is 100% set aside for small business, and quoters must be actively registered in SAM.gov. Arrangements for site visits must be coordinated with the designated point of contact. The total area is estimated at approx. 650 Sq Ft. Flooring in the Galley must be replaced with industry standard tile flooring for galleys in a grey finish. Flooring and subfloor in berthing room number 227 must be removed, investigated to see what caused subfloor to rise, repair issue, and replace subfloor and tile with tile that matches the tile already installed or provide examples of how you can blend a different color tile. IE: Replacing tile from door frame to area that is damaged with a boarding tile to create a boarder around new different color tile. Proper same material type and matching transition strips shall be installed at each doorway and all floor transition areas. Upon completion of the flooring, contractor shall install new tile trim along walls of where flooring was replaced to the same height as tile trim that was removed. Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the scope of work, and it is highly recommended to visit the facility to take field measurements, evaluations, etc., and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed.
