Site work for a water / sewer project in Franklin, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of Phase IB - Treatment Plant Improvements. Bidders must be properly licensed Contractors in accordance with La. R.S. 37:2150 - 2163 for the classification of MUNICIPAL CONSTRUCTION or related classification. Bids must include security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must be acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. Instructions to bidders include: - Bids received after the specified opening time will not be considered and will be returned unopened. - Bidding documents may be examined at specified locations and obtained for a set fee, with refunds for documents returned in good condition within ten days after receipt of bids. - A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the specified project location. - The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. - Bidders may withdraw their bid within forty-eight hours of the bid opening, excluding weekends and legal holidays, as governed by La. R.S. 38:2214 (C). - Questions or clarifications must be submitted to the Project Engineer in writing at least five days before the bid opening date. Only written addenda issued by the Project Engineer are binding. - Persons with disabilities who require special accommodations should contact the City of Franklin at least seven days prior to the bid opening.
