This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 36, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and no other written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors, (FAR Part 36) evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. This is a small business set aside, the applicable NAICS code is 237110 and PSC code is Z2NZ This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract awarded to the offeror with the Lowest Price. Offerors must actively be registered in System for Award Management - https://www.sam.gov The USCG Station Venice has a requirement for the vendor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace the following: New 4" Watts 909 (909NLF-4 WATTS - 4" LF909 RPA NRS LEAD FREE) backflow preventer New 6" Watts 909 (909NLF-6 WATTS - 6" LF909 RPA NRS LEAD FREE) backflow preventer Conduct required backflow preventer pressure testing. Dispose of old backflow preventers. Contractor shall provide labor, materials, and equipment for all requested work and for cleaning up all excess materials. Complete operational test of backflow preventers with Station Engineering point of contact. POC must be present during the testing of the backflow preventers. Contractor will remove any excess waste materials left after repairs are completed. The jobsite will be cleaned. The contractor shall not use Coast Guard dumpsters or any waste receptacles for disposal of debris.
