The Project consists of the construction of interior remodeling including: 1. Work under this Contract: a. Building Structure: 1) Masonry bearing walls and steel framing. b. Interior Finishes: 1) Insulated gypsum board/metal stud partitions and concrete block. 2) Floor finishes of carpet, rubber tile, and porcelain tile. 3) Wall finishes of paint and ceramic tile, porcelain tile. 4) Ceiling finishes of acoustical lay-in tile, gypsum board, and gypsum board soffits. 5) Plastic laminate casework, HM doors and frames, wood doors, hardware, glazing, acoustic treatment, lockers, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, markerboards, tackboards, display cases, signage, gymnasium equipment, and miscellaneous specialties. c. Mechanical Systems: 1) Plumbing including, supply and waste piping systems, piping insulation, plumbing fixtures. 2) Heating including piping, piping insulation, boilers, furnaces. 3) Ventilation to include, air handlers, unit ventilators, fan coils, ductwork, duct insulation, chilled water piping, DX condensers, chillers, cooling towers. 4) Temperature control system. d. Electrical Systems: 1) Electrical service, switchgear, distribution panels, conduit and wiring. 2) Interior and exterior lighting. Parking lot lighting. 3) Low voltage work to include: cabling, data drops, PA system rework, audio enhancement. 4) Fire alarm. This project includes: Interior renovations including finish improvements, accessibility upgrades at toilet rooms, minor structural framing at interior spaces, mechanical systems replacement, and associated electrical systems improvements.
