Site work for a water / sewer project in Rogers, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project work is located at the Rogers Wastewater Treatment Plant; 22350 S Diamond Lake Road, Rogers, MN 553744. The project provides for removal and disposal of 1,700 dry tons biosolids from the active MCES Rogers WWTF solids holding pond within 3 years of project start. Previous analysis by the Council indicates that the biosolids meet the definition of Class B. The CONTRACTOR will manage and perform removal of the biosolids and dispose by land application using either direct liquid injection or dry cast spreading. The CONTRACTOR will be responsible for managing biosolids sampling, obtaining Agreements with application sites owners, locating and permitting additional field as needed and performing permit closeout activities. CONTRACTOR shall anticipate 1/3 of solids will be removed from the pond and land applied in 2023. CONTRACTOR will be required to move solids within the pond via dredge equipment to aid in plant operations during the contract. CONTRACTOR will also be required to remove up to 800 tons of grit and solids from dewatered oxidation ditches and landfill the material. The CONTRACTOR will be responsible for obtaining agreements with land application sites prior to initiating land application activities. The CONTRACTOR will be solely responsible for all work related to locating and permitting sites as needed.
