The Port Angeles School District is accepting bids for civil work on the Monroe Athletic Field Project located at 102 Monroe Road, Port Angeles WA 98362. The work includes, but is not limited to: mobilization, temporary erosion control, clearing and grubbing, site demolition, earthwork, asphalt paving, concrete curb ramps, soil amendments, irrigation, and planting. The project range for the base bid is $440,000 to $465,000, excluding Washington State Sales Tax. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the entire Work no later than October 15, 2023 and Final Completion fifteen (15) days thereafter, subject to adjustments of the Contract Time as provided in the Contract Documents. project includes the following scope of work: removal of existing lawn and pavements; tree protection; earthwork and subgrade preparation for future field; storm drainage structures; electrical conduit and junction boxes; asphalt paving; curb ramps; soil amendments, planting, and irrigation. Additive Alternate #1A - Irrigation Valves, Laterals, and Heads - Irrigation controller, mainline, quick couplers, control wire, sleeves, and associated boxes for future irrigation valves. Terminate control wire in valve boxes with adequate length for valve wiring. Alt- Furnish and install all irrigation valves, laterals, and heads as documented on L4.10. Additive Alternate #1B - Landscape Sod (only taken if alternate 1A selected) - Hydroseed all exposed soil areas. Additive Alternate #2 - Parking Lot Restoration Protect in place existing parking lot.
