Renovation of an educational facility in Windham, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Windham Public Schools is seeking the services of a qualified business to perform the modernization of two elevators in Windham Middle School. It is the purpose of this specification to include all labor, material, tools, rigging and equipment necessary to modernize two (2) passenger elevators, make ADA required changes, and meet the requirement of all current codes. The Town of Windham reserves the rights to amend or terminate this Request for Proposals, to reject any of all respondents, to request additional information, to waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a response, and to take any and all other action that, in the Town's sole judgement, will be in its best interests. In accordance with Connecticut General Statute Title 31, Chapter 557, (Part III, State Contracts) Section 31-53 and as amended October 31, 2017 (PA 17-2), please note that current Connecticut Prevailing Wages may apply to the overall contractual obligations of this project. $200 a day as liquidated damages
