Direct all questions and inquiries by April 14th, 12:00 p.m. relative to the conditions and specifications listed herein to: Kate Rotella, Director of Fiscal Affairs and Acquisitions Eastern Connecticut State University Email: purchasing@easternct.edu or rotellac@easternct.edu This is a Request for Proposals (RFQ) issued by Eastern Connecticut State University (hereinafter referred to as the "University" or "ECSU") seeking quotations from qualified contractors to perform the cleaning of carpets and furniture on campus. Contractor must furnish all labor, material and equipment needed to meet the specifications of work. The contractor may commence work at 7 AM on May 18, 2023, all cleaning must be completed by August 11, 2023. Contractor may work multiple shifts. Contractor to submit a schedule of cleaning by building within one week of issuance of contract. Refer to Appendix A for a listing of Buildings to be cleaned, square footage of carpet to be cleaned per building, and total number of pieces of upholstered furniture to be cleaned per building. The University will have the option of renewal for two (2) additional one-year periods upon satisfactory performance and by mutual consent of both parties. Both parties to this agreement must agree that the contract is non-transferable nor assignable. ECSU reserves the right to cancel this contract without penalty due to unsatisfactory performance by the vendor or any other reason. The balance of the contract shall be awarded to the next lowest responsible bidder.
