Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Midland, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
CONTRACT NO. 07 is for the reconstruction of Tennessee and Kentucky Streets from Maryland St. to Ohio St. and of Hines St. from Ashman St. to Fitzhugh St. Some of the quantities listed in the Itemized Bid are as follows: 155 Lft 10" Sanitary Sewer Main (SDR 26) 5,600 Syd Crush & Shape Bit. Pavement 3,800 Lft Replace Concrete Curb & Gutter 1,000 Ton Bit. Pavement This project is for the street reconstruction of Tennessee and Kentucky Streets from Maryland St. to Ohio St. and of Hines St. from Ashman St. to Fitzhugh St. The project scope includes, but is not limited to crushing & shaping of bituminous pavement, sewer modifications, removal/replacement of concrete curb and driveway approaches & placement of new bituminous pavement. In general, the order of construction activities shall be as follows: 1. Crush & shape existing bituminous pavement and aggregate base. 2. Complete sewer modifications. 3. Replace curb & gutter, driveway approaches and sidewalk ramps. Complete all concrete work on one side of the street and reopen to residents prior to beginning concrete work on the other side. 4. Cut the grade to accommodate the design pavement thickness and regrade structures in street, including replacement of castings. 5. Fine grade and compact aggregate base. 6. Complete turf establishment. 7. Place bituminous pavement
