For: BID MTB #23-04 SOLID WASTE COLLECTION SERVICES Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bid bond, or cashier's check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, but not in excess of $20,000. Certified checks to be made payable to the Township of Mahwah. All bids must be enclosed in a properly sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder and the nature of the bid contained therein. Each bid must be accompanied by Consent of Surety. Each successful bidder will be required to furnish bonds on the first day and on each anniversary of the contract a performance bond in a sum equal to 100 percent (100%) of that year's amount of contract. Such performance bond must be furnished by the successful bidder simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract by such bidder. Further, the successful bidder must furnish to the Township of Mahwah policies of Certificates of Insurance as required by the Contract Documents. Bidders are required to comply with the New Jersey Business Registration Requirements. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of "N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27". The Mayor and Council reserve the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids.
