Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in La Canada Flintridge, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Selective demolition and construction necessary for the construction of two ADA site ramps. Removal and relocation of existing underground utilities as required to install ramps may include power, low voltage, fire alarm, water, sewer, gas and storm drains, as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications. Work includes trenching, backfilling, paving and miscellaneous landscaping and irrigation work, construction of site lighting. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s): B-General Building Contractor, or A-General Engineering Contractor, or C-8 Concrete Contractor. The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the La Canada Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid.
