Bids must be received early enough to ensure it is received and processed through the City's mail service in time. The work to be performed under the base bid includes the installation of approximately 3,124 lineal feet of 12-inch and 8-mch ductile iron water main and appurtenances, paving, and property restoration. Proposals shall be on forms included in the contract documents and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety), made payable to the City of issaquah, in an amount not less than 5% of the amount of the bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the time announced for the opening, or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty-five (65) days.
