Demolition, site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Eagle Lake, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the construction of a 43,500-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

**As of October 04, 2024, The City has obtained shortlisted and prequalified list of Construction Manager at Risk Services. The recommendation will go before the City Commission on October 7th for ratification. The city of eagle lake (city) is requesting sealed statements of interest and Qualifications from firms experienced in professional construction management With guaranteed maximum price for the demolition and replacement of the city's Existing city hall complex. The CITY aims to design and construct a new City Hall Complex and Library at the address described above. The project includes the demolition and replacement of the existing City Administration Building and City Commission building with a new +/- 43,500 sf structure. The project also includes the demolition and replacement of the CITY's existing Linda Weldon Building (Library). The proposed improvements will be constructed on the City's existing 2.01-acre site which is bounded by Eagle Avenue, 7th Street and Pearce Avenue. The CITY also plans to utilize and existing 0.2074-acre vacant tract across 7th Street from the existing buildings for stormwater mitigation. The City Hall Complex structure will house all City administrative offices, a new City Commission Chamber, a Polk County Sheriff's Department substation, and a community room/facility. The site improvements will include paved parking, connection to existing utilities, connection of the two existing dead ends of Pearce Avenue at the northwest corner of the project site, stormwater attenuation and treatment. Questions concerning this bid must be submitted in writing on or before 2:00 p.m., August 2, 2024, to Tom Ernharth at ternharth@eaglelakefl.gov. Questions received after this time may not be answered. The City of Eagle Lake reserves the right to reject any and all responses, to waive informalities, to readvertise, and to enter into a contract determined to be in its best interest, in accordance with the documents referenced herein above.
